All of our custom-built landscape structures are built of environmentally conscious eastern white cedar, which is sustainable yield, perpetual harvest in origin. This wood species can be left to weather naturally to a pleasant silvery-gray, or can be stained or painted.

We are able to provide stuctures built from this naturally deday-resistant wood at a price comparable to that of the common green chemically pressure treated woods. We can achieve this through an ongoing relationship with several family owned and operated sawmill operations which manage and harvest their own timber from their own timberlands. Our white cedar meets green building standards.

All of these built structures can be designed to be built from milled cedar lumber, or, in the Adirondack or rustic tradition, out of unpeeled logs of varying dimensions.
